Narrative Healing Therapy runs a private reporting dashboard for our practice. It reads advertising, website analytics and search data from Google. This page explains what Google data the dashboard uses, why, and how it is kept.
Who we are
Narrative Healing Therapy, Richard Zubulake. Contact: rzubulake@gmail.com. Website: https://www.narrativehealingtherapy.com
What the dashboard does
The dashboard shows how our practice performs on Google Ads, Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console. When the owner approves a change, it can also add negative keywords or pause duplicate keywords in our Google Ads account. Only the owner uses it.
Google data we access
- Google Ads: campaign, ad group, keyword, search term, ad and conversion data for our account. We make a change only after the owner approves it.
- Google Analytics 4: aggregated session, event and conversion counts by landing page and traffic source for our website. The dashboard does not receive records about individual website visitors.
- Google Search Console: search queries, pages, clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position for our website. Read only.
The dashboard also stores weekly counts that the owner types in: leads received, consultations booked and new clients. It does not store client names or contact details.
How we use this data
We use Google data only to show reports, to explain them, and to make the changes the owner approves. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone, except as described under "Tools we use." We do not use Google user data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Tools we use
The owner connects to these Google accounts with AdLoop, an open-source tool that runs on the owner's computer and uses the same Google sign-in as the dashboard. The owner also uses an AI assistant, Claude, made by Anthropic, to read and analyze the results. When the owner asks that assistant about the data, the relevant results are sent to it for that conversation.
Storage and security
The dashboard runs on the owner's own computer, on the home network. It is not published to the internet. Report data is kept in a local database on that computer, and the database keeps history for as long as the owner keeps it. Google sign-in tokens are kept in a local folder on that computer and are read by the dashboard in a read-only mode.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Your choices
You can remove the dashboard's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To ask for changes or deletion of data we hold, contact us at richard@narrativehealingtherapy.com.
Changes to this policy
If the dashboard's use of Google data changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
